*insert witty title here*

These are a few things I’ve had on my mind — yesterday that is. Before my computer acted like a whiny bitch. Anyway…

I’ve realized, not for the first time, that amidst me being ID’d at every opportune moment (depite being legal age for almost 3 and a half years) — I do feel, in fact, old.

I’m insured on our other car now, it has no CD player, and I’m really feeling the loss. And I mean, REALLY. I’m spoiled, but it feels like I’ve a lost an appendage. Or something. Because I turn on the radio going to work/school and it’s all shit. I hate, hate, hate (nearly) all of it. I honestly gave up the other day and rocked on out to some CCR on the “Classic Rock” station. When that was over, I turned on the classical music station. When the alternative is the lovely, new tune (minus the ‘lovely’ part), “Stacey’s Mom” or 6 minutes of commercials? Classical it is.

Yes, I do feel ancient. Especially when my wee little grade 3’s choice favourite groups/singers are 50 Cent and Eminem. Eeek. Neither of which I can personally stand. Where are your parents my darlings? Sure, at that age I lurved New Kids On The Block, however, NKOTB weren’t featured in songs with the word/term (?) P.I.M.P. in it. I’m just sayin’.

My, how times have changed.

Whee! I never got to see Clean & Sober or Castaways (of Dawson’s Creek) on actual tv before. Eeee! Fun times. TGIS (Thank God For Syndication).

Nothing says Romantic Interlude quite like an impromptu shave in the lighting department of a closed K-Mart, no? :butterfly: :hyper:

CSI was…alright last night. Very sad. I guess dying children, and even moreso dying BABIES, breaks my heart. Catherine still majorly irritates me, and talk about bludgeoning me to death with anvils. Of course we see her thinking of her own daughter during this case and dealing with some Super Mommy Angst. But WAIT. She’s a mother? No way! I never would have guessed! It’s not like they tell us in Every. God. Damn. Episode. In the most annoying ways possible. Not AT ALL! Bloody hell.

Yeah. I’ve got nothing else to say. Go visit these cool people.

I totally agree with you about kids and their trendy-ness… I guess thats what is it. I was only saying yesterday how technology has taken kids childhood from them. You see little kids walking around no older than 8 or so with the latest mobile phones and stuff. Music is the same. Little kids shouldnt be listening to Eminem, I mean they have warnings on his CD’s for a reason!

Good to see you listening to Bryan Adams! Heaven is one of my favourite songs!!!

Yay for DC and CSI, even though I still havent watched it.

I agree with both you and Kate on the whole Kids Growing Up Too Fast bit. And I *hate* Stacey’s Mom. I never listen to the radio at school, and since we don’t have a car with a CD player, I suppose I should be grateful that I don’t have a car at school. Although I do think that I would tolerate “Stacey’s Mom” if I had a car. =thinks=

I’m glad that you’re getting a chance to see DC eps that you missed before. I missed a lot, and, honestly? I don’t really miss it/them. =hides from Amy’ lightening bolts of PJ : * Goodness=

Ooooh, and I must tell you that I do love the o3 very muches because it reminds me of my school mascot a little. My mascot is a bulldog, and I have teeshirt (that I’m wearing atm, actually, which is prompting this addition) that has a pawprint in a box as the “picture” of the mascot. Usually it’s a entire dog (standing upright, but whatever), but this shirt is more adult-ish … or something.

    So, yeah. Pretty pawprints! :)

Amy’s probably wishing she’d never let Lizzy near her smilies by now …

Since I love using Amy’s pretty smilies, I’m going to reply to her commenty message here. o3 :butterfly: Whee! D

I didn’t used to be annoyed with Ross + Rachel. They used to be my favorites — eons ago (pre Monica + Chandler). And when they got married I was both happy and horrified. But when Joey started to develop feelings for Ross + Rachel, I saw something new in Joey. For me, Joey was always there for laughs, and that was about it. He was everyone’s buddy who wasn’t the brightest crayon in the box and who loved to pick up girls. But, suddenly, he was in love, and there wasn’t anything he could do about it. *Great* acting on Matt’s part, most definitely. And the reason why I like Joey + Rachel is because of the new dimension that loving Rachel brings to Joey’s character. And, seeing as how I’m a characterization ho … ;)

Anyhow, I hope that makes some semblance of sense. Maybe. Just a little? :turtle:
